Well I am glad you asked!
Over the last month I have been helping get the word out along with Sarah the (other) Intern about the annual swim that took place a couple Saturdays ago. She did so much of the work, it was great getting to work with her for a couple weeks.
What did we do? We sent out a press release to the hometown papers of all of the 450 registered swimmers. It was a huge assignment, but we have found some great stories as a result including THIS ONE on Paul Marion who made the swim from Newport to Jamestown for the 30th year in a row.
I had a great time at the swim and met so many great people there. If you have thought about it at all, get involved next year. It is a great RI tradition.
